1. Welcome

Welcome to the website www.mobilirebecca.it (hereinafter also “the Website”).

Owner of the Ohme Group Srl website (hereinafter also “Mobili Rebecca”), Tax Code and VAT number: 02484770694, with registered office in Via GB Pirelli 14 - 62012, Civitanova Marche (MC), tel.: 0733 672081, email: privacy@mobilirebecca.it .

This policy is intended to illustrate the methods for collecting, through cookies and/or other technologies, the information provided by users when they visit this Site.

This information forms an integral part of Ohme Group Srl's overall Privacy Policy.

2. General information on cookies and other technologies

While browsing the Site, some user information (information that the user does not actively provide) may be passively collected through various technologies. The Owner and third-party service providers collect and use various information in different ways, such as:

  • IP Address : An IP address is a number automatically assigned to your computer by your Internet Service Provider (ISP). An IP address is identified and logged automatically in the Company's server log files each time a user visits the Site, along with the date of the visit and the page(s) visited. Collecting IP addresses is standard Internet practice and is done automatically by many websites. IP addresses are used for various purposes, such as calculating Site usage levels, providing information to help diagnose server problems, and administering the Site.
  • Information through your browser : Most browsers collect certain information, including your Media Access Control (MAC) address, computer type (Windows or Macintosh), screen resolution, operating system version, and Internet browser type and version.
  • Device Information : If you access the Site from a mobile device, the Owner may collect information such as your mobile device type and unique identifier.

Finally, information may be collected through the use of so-called “Cookies” as described below.

3. Definition of “cookie”

Cookies are small text strings that visited sites send to the user's device (usually the browser used), where they are stored before being retransmitted to the same sites the next time the same user visits them.

Users visiting the sites will see minimal amounts of information inserted into their devices (computers or portable devices), in small text files saved in the directories used by the User's web browser, for periods of time that vary depending on the need and generally range from a few hours to a few years, with the exception of profiling cookies, whose maximum duration is 365 calendar days.

The information stored on the user's device can be reused during the same visit to the sites (session cookies) or later, even after several days (persistent cookies). Cookies are stored, based on the user's preferences, by the individual browser on the specific device used (computer, tablet, smartphone).

Cookies can be used to record information about user preferences and other technical data that facilitates navigation and makes the sites easier to use. For example, cookies can be used to determine whether a connection has already been established between the visitor's computer and the site being visited, to highlight news or maintain login information.

Similar technologies, such as web beacons, clear GIFs, and all forms of local storage introduced with HTML5, can be used to collect information on user behavior and use of services.

Please note that a cookie cannot retrieve any other data from the user's hard drive, transmit computer viruses, or capture email addresses. Each cookie is unique to the user's web browser.

Some of the functions of cookies can be delegated to other technologies; therefore, in the following, the term 'cookie' refers to cookies and all similar technologies.

Please note that users can also express their preferences regarding the use of cookies on the Site (see detailed list) through their browser settings. Users can also set "anonymous browsing," which allows them to browse the Internet without saving any information about the sites and pages visited, any passwords entered, or any other information that could be linked to their identity.

4. Types of cookies

Depending on the characteristics and use of cookies, various types of cookies can be distinguished.

4.1. Technical cookies

These cookies are essential for the proper functioning of a website and are used to manage various services (such as login or access to restricted website functions). The duration of these cookies is strictly limited to the duration of the session, or they may remain for a longer period of time in order to remember the visitor's choices. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may compromise the user and navigation experience of the website.

The legal basis for the use of these cookies is the legitimate interest (art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR) of the Data Controller in maintaining the correct functioning of the site and optimizing its functions.

4.2. Analytical cookies (Analytics)

These cookies are used to collect information on website usage and perform anonymous statistical analyses to improve site usability and make content more interesting and relevant to the user's interests. This type of cookie collects anonymous data on user activity and how the user arrived at the website. Analytics cookies are sent from the website itself or from third-party domains. They also allow system monitoring and improvement of performance and usability. Disabling these cookies can be done without any loss of functionality and will be discussed in detail below.

The legal basis for the use of these cookies is the legitimate interest (art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR) of the Data Controller in analyzing how users use the Site and helping the Data Controller to constantly improve it and its services.

4.3. Third-party analytics cookies

These cookies are used to collect anonymous information on users' use of the site, such as pages visited, time spent, traffic sources, geographic location, age, gender, and interests, for marketing purposes. These cookies are sent from third-party domains external to the site.

The legal basis for the use of these cookies is the legitimate interest (art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR) of the Data Controller in analyzing how users use the Site and helping the Data Controller to constantly improve it and its services.

4.4. Cookies for integrating third-party software products and functions

This type of cookie integrates features developed by third parties within the pages of the sites, such as icons and preferences expressed on social networks, for the purpose of sharing site content or for the use of third-party software services (such as map-generating software and other software that offers additional services). These cookies are sent from third-party domains and partner sites that offer their functionality within the pages of the sites.

The legal basis for the use of these cookies is the legitimate interest (art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR) of the Data Controller in maintaining the correct functioning of the site and optimizing its functions.

4.5. Profiling cookies

These cookies are necessary to create user profiles in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user within the pages of the sites.

More information about cookies can be found on the website www.allaboutcookies.org .

Given the objective complexity of identifying cookie-based technologies and their close integration with the functioning of applications and the web, users are encouraged to contact the Data Controller if they wish to receive further information regarding the use of cookies themselves and any possible uses of them – for example, by third parties – carried out through this Site.

The legal basis for the use of these cookies is the free, express, informed, specific and revocable consent of the interested party (art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR) of the Data Controller to analyse how users use the Site and help the Data Controller to constantly improve it and its services.

5. Personal data protection provisions relating to cookies

Italian law has implemented European Directive 2009/136/EC into our legal system, which requires website operators that use cookies or other tracking technologies to inform users about the types of cookies used by the site. Please note that the approval process for a new European Regulation on Privacy and Electronic Communications (e-Privacy Regulation), which may amend the current regulatory framework, is nearing completion. The Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) issued Order No. 229 of May 8, 2014, published in the Official Journal No. 126 of June 3, 2014, regarding cookies. It divided cookies into two main categories:

  • "technical" cookies (including analytical cookies) and
  • "profiling" cookies.

The installation of technical cookies (including analytical cookies, collected in aggregate form) does not require users' prior consent, while the obligation to provide information remains.

For the installation of "profiling" cookies, the law requires the user to be adequately informed about their use and to express their free, specific, and revocable consent.

In the aforementioned Provision, the Guarantor has also categorized cookies according to the data controller, distinguishing between:

  • first-party cookies and
  • third-party cookies.

5.1. First-party cookies

These are cookies managed by the website owner. For these cookies, the website owner is responsible for providing information. The website owner is also responsible for indicating how to block the cookie.

5.2. Third-party cookies

These are cookies managed by a third party other than the website owner. For these cookies, the third party is responsible for providing information and instructions on how to block cookies, while the website owner is required to include a link to the third-party website where these information regarding cookie blocking is available.

5.3. Further information on cookies

For more information on the provisions of the Italian Data Protection Authority regarding cookie management, please visit the dedicated section on the website www.garanteprivacy.it/cookie .

For further information on the guidance provided on this topic by the Article 29 Data Protection Working Party, in particular in "Opinion 04/2012 on Cookie Consent Exemption," adopted on June 7, 2012, and in "Working Document 02/2013 providing guidance on obtaining consent for cookies," adopted on October 2, 2013, please consult the following documents:

6. Information on the processing of cookies and other technologies

That being said, Ohme Group Srl provides users of the Site with the information required by Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679.

6.1. Purpose of the processing

The processing of data, collected directly from the user, voluntarily or through the automatic functions of the Site, has the purpose of:

  • provide and complement the services provided by the Site, including the management of interactions between the Site and the user, the improvement of navigation and use of the Site, the sending of reports, notifications and communications, including commercial ones, consistent with the user's needs and expectations, with the aim of improving the user's experience in using the Site;
  • measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns;
  • record user visits and share this information with third parties, including agencies and advertisers who may use their cookies to collect information about the user's browsing activities.

6.2. Processing methods

The Data Controller informs that the following types of cookies are operational on the Site (for a description of which, please also refer to the previous paragraphs):

a) Technical session cookies

Technical cookies are necessary for browsing the Site, as they enable essential functions such as authentication, validation, session management, and fraud prevention. For example, they allow us to identify whether the user has accessed areas of the Site that require prior authentication, user validation, and session management for various services and applications. They also allow us to store data for secure access, or perform fraud control and prevention functions.

b) Analytical cookies

Analytical cookies are used to statistically analyze access/visits to the Site and are used exclusively for statistical purposes (and not for profiling or marketing purposes) and collect information in aggregate form without the possibility of tracing the identification of the individual user.

In these cases, since current legislation requires that the interested party be provided with clear and adequate information on how to easily opt-out of the use of analytical cookies (including any mechanisms for anonymizing the cookies themselves), we specify that it is possible to disable analytical cookies as follows:

  • open your browser,
  • select the settings menu,
  • click on Internet options,
  • open the privacy tab,
  • choose the desired level of cookie blocking.

If you want to delete cookies already saved in memory, simply open the security tab and delete the history by checking the "delete cookies" box.

We also remind you that it is possible to opt out of Google Analytics cookies by visiting the website: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en .

c) Third-party cookies

The Site also provides the possibility of sending cookies from sites managed by other organizations ("third parties") that may be located in Italy or abroad (e.g. YouTube, Facebook, Google).

These are parts of the page visited, generated directly by the aforementioned "third-party" sites and integrated into the Site page.

The management of information collected by "third parties" is governed by the relevant information to which reference is made.

d) Profiling cookies

The site also provides the option of using profiling cookies, including third-party cookies, to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user while browsing the internet.

The use of these cookies by the Site Owner is subject to the free, informed, granular, and revocable consent of the user, which can be expressed through the cookie management banner or in the "Manage cookies" section on the website.

Finally, to ensure greater transparency, a "Guide for managing cookies on major browsers and social media services" is provided at the bottom of this document. This guide provides the web addresses of the various information notices provided by third parties and the methods for managing cookies. It is also noted that the Data Controller is not responsible for the use of third-party cookies, including profiling cookies, on this Site.

You can deny consent and block third-party cookies using browser plugins by searching Google for "block and delete third-party cookies." This search will return numerous guides based on your operating system and browser. You can then change your preferences by accessing the "cookie management" or "manage my cookies" page, accessible from the Company's website homepage.

Since browsers differ significantly, if you prefer to manage your browser preferences yourself, you can find detailed information on the necessary procedure in your browser's Help. For an overview of the most common browser settings, we recommend visiting the following website: www.cookiepedia.co.uk .

6.3. Consent to the use of cookies that do not pursue marketing purposes

It is not mandatory to obtain consent for the use of technical cookies, third-party cookies, or analytical cookies similar to technical cookies (such as those listed in points a) and b). Disabling these cookies may make it impossible to navigate the Site correctly and/or use the services, pages, features, or content.

6.4. Consent to the use of cookies for marketing purposes

Since this Site also uses cookies for marketing or profiling purposes, to give your consent, it will be sufficient for the user to perform one of the following events/actions:

  • Click on the "Accept" button in the cookie management banner.

6.5. Withdrawal of consent

To revoke the consent given, in addition to the various methods indicated above, the User can access the "manage my cookies" page accessible from the menus at the bottom (footer) of the Site.

6.6. Links to other websites

This Site may contain links or references to other websites. The Company does not control the cookies/tracking technologies of other websites, to which this Cookie Policy does not apply.

6.8. Other technologies used by the Data Controller

In conjunction with the cookie technology described above and also by making use of it, the Site uses the following services:

a) Facebook Pixel

The Facebook Pixel is a statistical data collection tool that allows us to measure the effectiveness of our advertising by understanding the actions people take on our Site.

When someone visits our website and takes an action (e.g., makes a purchase), the Facebook Pixel is activated and records that action. This way, we'll know when a user has taken an action after seeing our Facebook ad. We can also reach that user again using custom audiences. The more conversions on the website, the better Facebook will be able to show our ads to people who are likely to take certain actions. This is called conversion optimization.

So, that's why we use the pixel:

  • Making sure your ads are shown to the right people: finding new customers or people who have visited a certain page or performed a desired action on the Site.
  • Increase sales: Set up automated bidding to reach people who are likely to take an action, such as making a purchase.
  • Measure ad results: Learn more about the impact of your ads by measuring what happens after people see them.

The data collected on the Site using the Conversion Pixel does not allow Mobili Rebecca to draw any conclusions about the user's identity. The data collected (for example, the user's IP address) is transmitted via the Conversion Pixel, and Facebook stores and processes the data for conversion measurement purposes. Mobili Rebecca will receive anonymous reports from Facebook, and these reports will not contain any reference to the identity of the respective users. However, it cannot be ruled out that Facebook will link the user data transmitted via the Site to other individual user data (for example, user information from a Facebook account) or that Facebook will use the information for its own purposes.

The Visitor Tracking Pixel is a service provided by a third-party company (Facebook), and Mobili Rebecca cannot control or influence the data processing operations of third-party companies. You can learn more about Facebook's privacy policy at the following link: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy .

Facebook, like its partners, allows the placement of online advertising both inside and outside its website. For this reason, it may also be possible for a cookie to be stored on the user's computer.
